About this property

Boasting an elevated position at the north end of the majestic Conwy Valley, is the elegant farmhouse Hafodty. Approached via an endearing country road, taking you away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, is where you will find this beautifully renovated, stone-built property.

This heart-warming retreat has been designed to bring family and friends together, offering everything you could possibly need for a week-long break, as well as far-reaching views of the coast and countryside. Be welcomed into the farmhouse-style kitchen, which boasts a lovely blend of style and tradition, with contemporary units contrasting with the charming exposed beams. The designated chef of the group will be delighted to prepare home-cooked meals within this space, before hosting a sociable evening within the well-presented dining room.

Spend your wind down time within the sitting room, where you can select your favourite DVD to watch whilst the warmth of the woodburning stove fills the room. You will be spoilt for choice by the sleeping accommodation that awaits you, with five bedrooms situated across two floors to choose from. On the ground floor, you will find a double bedroom and following the staircase from the kitchen will bring you to a further double, complete with rural views and its own en-suite shower room. Lovely warm home with plenty of space! Even opening 4 gates to get in and out made the stay! At a glance it was generally clean but when looked at closer e.g dropping cutlery under the table or moving furniture to stop kids falling out of beds we noticed it was fairly dirty. Bathrooms weren’t the best either but we chose to see passed this and enjoy all of the positives. We couldn’t get the freezer to work and wished the showers were slightly more powerful. This wouldn’t stop us from coming here again. Beds were super comfortable! Great smart tv, lovely toasty fire, Plenty of parking space, Lots of crockery and cutlery. WiFi was perfect. Plenty of seating in the living room.

We were welcomed into the cottage by a roaring fire and very cozy surroundings. The cottage and land are brilliant. Kids explored the fields despite the weather and it was a great escape from every day life. I would definitely recommend and would love to book again in future.
