This traditional end-terraced Welsh cottage has been sympathetically restored and has a lovely open plan living space on the ground floor, which features both an open fire and a multi-fuel burner. Ideally located in the village of Dolwyddelan, in the Snowdonia National Park, there are walks from the door, including the quiet and hidden valley of Cwm Penamnen, which is great for walking (including dogs). The small castle at Dolwyddelan (Cadw) is well worth a visit, and you are only 5 miles from the exciting Bounce Below and Zip World complex at Blaenau Ffestiniog. In the other direction is picturesque Betws-y-Coed with the Zip World Fforest Coaster, the market town of Llanrwst and the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno – in fact, you can hop on the train from the station in Dolwyddelan to explore these if you want to leave the car behind! Beach 20 miles. Shop and pub ¼ mile, restaurant ½ mile.

Had a fantastic stay for a week in August. Everything you need!!! Huge pros were the local pub which is really welcoming and did delicious food, access to train station for stress free trips out and stunning walks. The cottage was really homely and had everything we needed and in a super peaceful setting. Only cons were sofas are a little tired and lumpy, but still a great place to sit after a busy day, and the shower, although lovely and modern is not the most powerful! All this being said we are still looking to plan our next stay!
