Guests say

Foxhole is a cosy and well-equipped cottage in Keswick, praised for its ideal location and comfortable furnishings. Guests appreciate the warm heating and the lovely garden, with great walks and local amenities nearby. Some concerns were raised about cleanliness and maintenance, but the responsive service from the maintenance team is noted.

Several reviews mention the need for a thorough cleaning, particularly in the kitchen and under furniture. The garden is well-maintained, but indoor cleanliness requires attention.

The cottage is in a lovely location with easy access to local pubs and cafes, and it offers beautiful views. The tight parking is a minor drawback.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the living room cosy. However, some mention issues with the bathroom size and the creaky double bed.

The cottage is well-equipped, but several reviews cite maintenance issues such as the oven seal, toilet flush, and shower drainage. The heating is efficient.

There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Cosy, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Ideal for small family or couple. Nothing fancy, but ideal for short walking holiday.

Nice location. Basic but clean and warm cottage. Parking a bit tight but manageable ( we have a small SUV). Nice pubs in village for food

This is in a lovely location and the local cafe is great. But Foxholes needs a really good clean. There is lots of work that needs doing on it too.It could be lovely with some care and money spent on it. Unfortunately the kitchen cupboards, the bins, under the sofas and the bathroom cabinet hadn’t seen a cloth. The garden is well maintained but the removal of the shrub to the left of the parking space would make things much easier. As the parking space is very tight even for a small car.
