Maybill Cottage is set in stunning scenery in a former slate mining valley. We loved the local walks even though the footpaths sometimes disappeared! The cottage is cosy, very clean and well equipped, we didn't use the wood burner but there are also electric heaters throughout and we were glad of a boost from these one evening. Excellent communication from the owner before and during the stay. No mobile reception but there is a landline to use in case of emergency. We visited Anglesey, Snowdon and Harlech Castle, also Tŷ Mawr Wybrnant which is close by. There's a Londis in Penmachno, about 3 miles away, which is well stocked. A fantastic week!
