The photos do not do it justice. Much bigger than we thought, very clean , the extra large dining table was a bonus for our party of 12. Would highly recommend!

The photos don’t do the internal size of the property justice, the bedrooms are all a great size (family bedroom has a sliding dividing door for bunkbed area) and the open plan kitchen/ lounge/ dining area works brilliantly for a large group (can be divided by sliding doors/ curtains if desired). The separate seating/ TV area at the rear of the large entrance hallway worked brilliantly as a kids playroom. We go away together as a group every New Year, and this was by far the best property we have booked in terms of quality of furnishings/ comfort/ cleanliness. The house is very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher but the response time from the owners could not have been quicker to resolve. The house is well positioned for short car trips to Welshpool/ Oswestry/ Powis Castle. We also enjoyed a short walk from the house along the canal to the local pub in Arddleen (very welcoming/ dog friendly). We ordered a Chinese takeaway one night that was recommended in the welcome book, delicious! It was very wet weather for our stay so we didn’t use the garden much, but was a great size and everyone commented that they would love to come in warmer weather and enjoy the outdoor seating area with stunning views of the hills.

The host Ceri is so helpful. The house has everything, it’s spotless, warm and very homely, my two sons wanted to live there. Thank you so much Ceri.
