Guests have had a delightful experience at Chestnut, praising its cleanliness, peaceful surroundings, and the welcoming host, Charlotte. The glamping pods offer a relaxing retreat with private hot tubs and fire pits, contributing to a cosy and enjoyable stay. While some minor issues were mentioned, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.
The property is generally well-received for its cleanliness, with guests noting it as clean on arrival. However, some mentioned the presence of cobwebs, spiders, and flies, slightly affecting the score.
The location is appreciated for its seclusion and idyllic scenery, offering a peaceful retreat. The need to drive to local attractions is noted, but it does not detract significantly from the positive experience.
Guests find the pods cosy and relaxing, with the addition of a hot tub enhancing comfort. A few guests mentioned the mattress being too soft, which suggests room for improvement.
The facilities, including the kitchenette, hot tub, and fire pit, are well-received. The lack of cleaning tools for the BBQ and limited quantities of some necessities are minor drawbacks.
While the host, Charlotte, is praised for her helpfulness and welcoming nature, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would influence this score.

Everything was perfectly good and clean. The response from the host was quick. The only thing was that there were loads of cobwebs and spiders on the deck. But overall it was great. Would recommend to others..

My husband and I had a lovely relaxing weekend staying in the Chestnut Glamping pod. It was very well set up and clean on arrival - the only downside being the amount of flies in the pod which were just relentless! The hot tub was a big bonus, adding to the relaxation. The fire pit was great, we had a bbq and toasted marshmallows by the fire. Charlotte was a brilliant host, very helpful and welcoming before and during our stay. The fire pit packages available were really helpful, setting us up with the kit we needed. The surrounding area was very peaceful with idyllic scenery. The other pods were mostly positioned well for privacy, except there was one pod on the other side of the arc which slightly hampers the privacy as they are directly facing Chestnut (based on the photos I expected the pods to all be in a sort of line and not visible from any of the others). The location was quite secluded (as expected), so you generally need to drive if you want to visit any local towns or attractions. Overall a great place to stay, would highly recommend!
