Welshpool, Powis Castle, King Arthur’s Labyrinth and the renowned Centre for Alternative Technology, with its unique water-powered railway, are all close by.. All male, all female or young mixed groups must be checked at time of booking. If accepted there will be a £50 security deposit per person payable on arrival - refunded within 7 days of departure providing no damage is caused. The park will not accept any party under the age of 25.

Single sex parties are permitted at the park’s discretion – please call to check at time of booking – and will be required to pay a security deposit on arrival of £50 per person. This is refundable upon departure.
Parties under 25 are not permitted.

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this holiday. We booked a weekend away for 4 of us and 2 dogs. The first day we got there owner was helpful and advised the lodge was open and then about 10 mins after I received a call from the company saying I needed to add a dog to the booking. I advised I have already paid for 2 dogs to which I was told I was wrong, the owner didn’t tell me to pay for them he called the company straight away and they called me and demanded the money WHICH I ALREADY PAID!!! For a dog friendly lodge there was no gate on the front which meant my dog was on a lead at all times. The hot tub was falling apart, the buttons and jets didn’t work and there were no lights. It’s in serious need of an upgrade. There are lots of pans and utensils but if you are cooking you need everything else like oil etc as the nearest decent shop is about an hour away. We couldn’t take the dogs on a long walk in any fields as there were sheep everywhere so always had to drive out to walk them somewhere good, but the road coming in and out of the lodge was appalling and left awful damage to our cars! We also had some funny youngsters next to us playing horror music all night which was funny for a short while until it got too much. Apart from all those negatives it was really good, make sure you bring your own towels and toilet paper as they only give you 1 roll. I don’t think I’d come back to this exact location but there’s lots of holiday parks around which I would recommend more, as we paid a lot for 4 nights, you would seriously expect something a bit better! The only good thing was we were out basically all day visiting some amazing places! Do not recommend.

Good except for flies lady gave us fly strips but not nice waking us up. Pub down the hill good with food nearest town but further. Nice location lovely views.

We booked a 4-night stay in June but left after just 2 nights due to unacceptable conditions. The lodge was severely infested with flies. While we understand the countryside has insects, this was an uncontrollable swarm that landed on our food and prevented us from sleeping. The owner's only solution was to provide fly tape, which did not fix the issue. Furthermore, the hot tub—our main reason for booking—was broken and unmaintained. The control panel buttons were falling off, the screen was completely faded, the jets did not work, and the water was freezing cold. When we checked out early, the owner refused to handle our partial refund and passed the responsibility. This was a miserable experience. Avoid this place.
