Tan Y Fron is an excellent, well run park which is well maintained. It's within easy walking distance of Dolgellau centre and there is a nearby Coop. It's in a great location and is only a 20min drive to Barmouth, going over the wooden toll bridge at Penmaenpool.I stayed in the Gadlas apartment and was very happy there. It was spotlessly clean and well equiped with everything you need. Wifi was decent too. Note that you can't park right outside the apartment, it's a short walk away, but you can temporarily park to unload and load the car so wasn't a problem.

A great value base for exploring. The price, the accommodation and the location. It was very well priced and a great base to explore Cadair Idris. There was a room above which was very noisy but fortunately there was no noise in the evening or night time.
