Ideal walking area , wet but this did not stop us. Owner gave us permission to metal detect garden and we found 3 old coins ,( 1853 penny. 1953 penny. Sixpence). And a little bit of scrap metal all in One hour .thank you owners ( sorry forgot your name)

We visited over the Christmas period and we were not disappointed. The accommodation is a fabulous conversion of a former Chapel set in its own grounds on the top of the hill, surrounded by fabulous views of the River Severn. The weather was awful whilst there and floods everywhere, but this did not distract from a memorable stay. Bausley Chapel was a home from for us over Christmas, comfy sofas, wood burner, well stocked modern kitchen, everything easy to use. The bathroom has a long slipper bath (we have the shorter version at home!) with views over the river! The bedroom is spacious and provided for our needs. As we have a camper van, the parking was amazing. We loved our stay and have already recommended to family

The views were tremendous and it is in easy reach of many National Trust and English Heritage properties. The chapel was extremely spacious and clean. The only thing missing was a separate shower but we got round that.
