Guests enjoyed their stay at this unique apartment within a historic house, praising the spaciousness, beautiful views, and comfortable bed. The owners were described as pleasant and welcoming, and the property offers a cosy atmosphere with thoughtful touches. Some guests noted ongoing renovations and minor cleanliness issues, but overall, the experience was positive, with many looking forward to returning once improvements are complete.
While most guests found the apartment pleasant, one review mentioned dust, a stained bed cover, and a hole in the sheet, indicating some inconsistency in cleanliness. However, no widespread or severe issues were reported.
The property is set in scenic grounds with fabulous views and is conveniently located for visiting local attractions such as Powys Castle and the steam train. The approach road is narrow and winding, which may be a minor challenge for some.
Guests highlighted the spaciousness, cosy atmosphere, and especially the very comfortable bed, though one guest found the bed quite high. Heated bathroom tiles and a wood fireplace added to the comfort.
The apartment is generally well equipped, with a well-stocked kitchen and heated bathroom tiles. However, some guests noted the absence of a microwave, frying pan, and in-apartment laundry facilities, and mentioned ongoing renovations.
Guests appreciated the welcome pack with drinks and snacks, and the offer of breakfast delivery and laundry service. Please note that such gifts and extras are not guaranteed for all guests.

Our stay was extremely pleasant! Highly recommend. Many pros - Owners were very pleasant and kind, the apartment was spacious and cozy, enjoyed the wood fireplace, the heated tiles in the bathroom, the comfortable bed, the well stocked kitchen including some welcome drinks and snack, scenic grounds, offered breakfast delivered to the apartment (additional), offered to do laundry. Few cons - The stairs to get to the apartment may be a challenge for mobility impaired, the road to the apartment was narrow and winding, there was not a washer/dryer in the apartment. Overall very positive.

Quite disappointed with the apartment, not as clean as expected, hole in the sheet, stain on the top bed cover, plate rack in the kitchen was quite thick with dust. Think there was a bit of artistic licence going on with the picture on the cottages.com website!!!. I'm sure once all the renovations are complete there will be a vast improvement
