Snaptrip says

Guests generally enjoy the Snowy Owl Lodge for its cleanliness, stunning location, and private hot tubs. The well-maintained grounds and beautiful views contribute to a tranquil and relaxing stay. While some minor issues with maintenance and comfort are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests were impressed with the cleanliness of the lodge, noting it was very clean with lovely white bedding and towels. However, a few guests mentioned that some crockery and cutlery required washing upon arrival, and outdoor areas needed better maintenance.

The lodge's location is highly praised for its stunning and tranquil setting, with beautiful views and proximity to the Elan Valley. Guests appreciated the peacefulness and the privacy provided by the hedging around the lodges.

Comfort levels are generally good, with the lodge being described as roomy and the hot tub adding to the comfort. However, several guests mentioned issues with the mattresses being uncomfortable and the lodge feeling outdated, which affected their overall comfort.

Facilities such as the hot tub are a highlight, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues like non-working TVs, hot tub problems, and loose decking. Some guests also suggested improvements such as better signposting and bathroom shelving.

There is insufficient information to score thoughtfulness as there are no consistent mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. While some guests noted the lack of a welcome basket, it is not clear if this is a standard offering.

Thank you for a lovely 3 night stay this April. The Lodge itself was clean and comfortable with everything you could need. The hot tub was perfect and ready to use. We had a lovely view and could see one of the famous Wye Valley dams in the distance and enjoyed watching the many red kites soaring above. We would definitely be happy to return in the future.

Accommodation was clean. We stayed in the exact same lodge as last year. Very disappointing to find out the mattress in the master bedroom has seen better days. This resulted in very little uncomfortable sleep for myself and my wife for the duration of our stay. This was reported on our first night but no action was taken. A bit of general maintenance is well overdue for example painting & jet washing. The lovely welcome pack that we received previously was no more. It was originally our plan to return on an annual basis unfortunately unless improvements are made this will not be the case.
