Primrose is in St Harmon, a short drive from the market town of Rhayader, ideal for those looking to explore this fabulous area. Gilfach Nature Reserve is within short walking distance from the property and offers moorland, woodland, rivers and waterfalls.
There is plenty to do in this area and a visit to the Elan Valley is a must, as the scenery is just simply stunning, with forested areas, waterfalls and Victorian dams, great for walkers, cyclists and bikers. The Red Kite feeding and rehabilitation centre is not far from the property, and the sheep dogs put on a great show moving the cattle and sheep from the fields before feeding starts. The market town of Rhayader has plenty of restaurants and coffee shops, local amenities and stores.
For those wanting to travel further afield, then the market town of Builth Wells is 16 miles away and home to the Royal Welsh Showground, which hosts multiple events throughout the year. The spa town of Llandrindod Wells is 14 miles from the property and hosts a great golf course and lots of open country parks. The Brecon Beacons National Park is 44 miles for those more adventurous, where a day climbing Pen Y Fan is a must with its panoramic views.

Perfect stay, clean, well equipped and spacious lodge. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, very spacious and secure garden for the dogs. Hot tub was perfect. We will definitely come again.

It was absolutely lovely. Perfect for some down time. Would highly recommend. Would be nice to be able to take more than 2 dogs though.

it was a lovely place however beds are very uncomfyunable to sleep we actually left a day early other then that becky very helpful stay was also ruined by neighbours
