Rhayader is a market town with tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and shops. The Elan Valley offers walks and cycle trails, as well as a visitor’s centre with café and children's play area. Known as the 'Wildlife Centre of Wales', with its nature reserves. Visit Builth Wells, hosting the Spring Festival, Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and Winter Fair. A 34 mile drive will take you to the Welsh coast.

Could do with more crockery / glasses etc. We were here in March '26 & reported a broken lid on the litter bin. This is still broken. Finally the TV is on the same side as the sofa which means you have to twist round & get neck ache to watch it. That's bonkers, should be on the other side (kitchen unit side). Other than that brilliant. Will be booking again next year.

It was amazing place to stay so peaceful the view was amazing to see with the sun setting over the hills it everything u need was basically on the door step not far to go it was clean tidy and very comfortable will definitely be returning for another get away holiday

One spotlight out in kitchen area. One post light out on patio. Broken hing on waste bin & brush but no dust pan. All noted in a note when we left. On a personal note, I HATE apps. Why go through the fuss of scanning, registering, & downloading an app when the 'old fashioned' welcome pack with all details & places of interest enclosed is much friendlier. Other than that a fabulous stay. A strong contender for our September holiday.
