The nearby market town of Longridge has a thriving high street boasting a range of well-established eateries and shops, ideal for an afternoon of exploring. The Forest of Bowland aonb is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts as it is famed for its variety of walking and cycling routes and also houses attractions including Bowland Wild Boar Park, Browsholme Hall and Tithe Barn a fabulous 16th century home which runs guided tours through its halls and expansive gardens and Gisburn Forest and Stocks. Priest Hill Farm is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding countryside.
