Alternatively, explore the Mortimer Trail and the lovely walks to Hergest Ridge (7 miles). Discover Presteigne (6.5 miles), which nestles at the heart of The Marches and home to the award winning Judge s Lodging Museum. Visit Hay on Wye with its literary festival and bookshops, Builth Wells famed for the Royal Welsh Show and the medieval town of Ludlow, are less than 25 miles away.
