Llanwddyn is a sleepy little hamlet at the top of the Vyrnwy valley, within a half-mile from Lake Vyrnwy and the massive Victorian dam. This region, which is bordered by the Snowdonia National Park and the Cambrian and Berwyn mountain ranges, has some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere. Windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, and sailing, as well as game and fly fishing, are all available at the lake and on the rspb estate.
