Please note: There is a river in the grounds, 50 yards away.. Set on one level, this open studio-style accommodation has everything needed for a romantic break. Situated in the Welsh countryside, the pod comes complete with private patio with a hot tub and barbecue for your enjoyment. From the French doors leading to the patio, you can sit out in the evening dining alfresco with a cool glass of wine.
There are many places you can visit to enjoy the bars, restaurants and shops in the nearby market towns of Oswestry and Welshpool. You will find historical castles nearby, ideal for exploring. The beautiful Welsh countryside offers guests the opportunity of walks, bird watching and a large range of other wildlife to spot.

Booked for 4 nights as a family of 4. Two adults and two children. Firstly i just want to say the site location and views are beautiful. Very quite and peaceful. We had issues after arriving with the electricity going off. The owner quickly sorted this out. It was caused by a faulty toaster that was tripping the electrics. This was therefore removed, left outside the pod and not replaced. This meant cooking facilities were limited. There is a microwave but we had no toaster and the kettle was unusable due to extensive limescale. Fortunately there were a few local cafes nearby that we went to each day as unable to use what we had brought. I would definitely recommend bean and banter. Very reasonably priced and good food. The pod on the whole was nice but there are definitely areas that need to be improved. Firstly I would say considering it was booked for 4 people there was only 2 pillows and 1 duvet. The couch does go flat to get two people on but no additional bedding was provided, so take your own if there are 4 of you. The main bed being honest was extremely uncomfortable and really does need to be replaced. You can feel every spring. We left early after 3 nights as we could not sleep another night on it. In addition the Hot tub needs to be maintained. The water discoloured by day 3 and we did not see anyone come up to maintain it, therefore did not use it. The site is dog friendly and unfortunately there was dog poo in multiple places. Not the owners fault but annoying when my toddler stood in it twice. If these things were improved then it really would be a lovely place to stay.

Absolutely incredible place to stay at! Clean and calm country with beautiful scenic views. Situated within a 30 minute drive from most places.. bala lake, pistyll Ryder waterfall, Aran fawddwy mountain. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Had a fire bowl situated over the bridge which was lovely to sit by and enjoy within the forest. Shop within a 4 min drive
