"A lovingly furnished farmhouse awaited us. We enjoyed the stay very much. If we visit Wales again, we like to come back here."
    Miss Robertshaw ‐ 1 Aug 2018
"There were plenty of forest tracks from the house for exploring the woodland. It was so quiet and secluded, my daughter loved telling us about all the dragons and elves that lived in these magical woods! Further afield we enjoyed walks by the spectacular Elan Valley resovoirs and a day trip to Aberystwyth. There are also well signed national trail paths starting from Abbey-Cwm-Hir. The owners are nearby if there is anything you need and made us feel very welcome."

"This cottage is situated a couple of miles up a forestry track well away from the main road making it an exceptionally quiet location. Wake up to the birds and sheep. Elam Valley is just a few miles drive away, although you could spend your time walking in the surrounding forest. The cottage was warm and cosy, with central heating and a great wood burner. There are wonderful views from the property, spent a lot of time just reading and soaking up the atmosphere. Would definitely love to come back"

"Cwm Bedw Farmhouse is a lovely place, very tranquil far from the madding crowd we really enjoyed our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Great walks and views and friendly owners. "
    Mrs Carole Must, Deeside, Flintshire
"The stunning location of Cwm Bedw in the middle of the forest is what made our holiday extra special. Although we were only 6 miles from the nearest town it felt like we were in the middle of a dessert island surrounded by amazing trees, flora and fauna! The only sounds you can hear from the house are the birds and the river running into the pond. Even in the rain (and it rained almost every day) it is still a magical place to unwind and recharge your batteries. "
    Mrs Louise Purdy, Chippenham,
"Simply a lovely farmhouse in a beautiful location."

The owners are there if you need them but you don't see them. The wildlife birds, rabbits and the rolling hills with sheep are a delight. Wake up to the most spectacular views & dawn chorus. Alfresco dining is a must in the gazebo overlooking the very large pond and beautiful garden. Lots of places to walk. We will without a doubt be returning...."

"The house and surroundings are stunning. The house is beautifully designed inside and finished to a very high standard. Everything is very well thought out and cared for. The house is warm and cosy, with central heating, double glazing and a very efficient wood burner. There are wonderful views from the property over the pretty garden with a small lake to the magnificent hills opposite. The owners are welcoming and helpful but also not intrusive at all. There are fabulous walks right from the kitchen door and also spectacular mountain walks a short drive away. I would warmly recommend a stay at Cwm Bedw to refresh mind, body and spirit!"

"Loved it - very clean, very well kept, 3-bed cottage with a fantastic garden, in a remote, secluded, Welsh valley - miles from anywhere. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place - 2 miles down a forest track, and a 20 minute drive to the nearest shop....If you have young children, just note the large deep pond in the garden."
    Mr Graeme Urquhart, Havant, Hampshire

Excellent information pack and leaflets helped us to organise our days out. Miss Tina Waterhouse, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex
"A lovely cosy cottage reached by a road through the forest with a beautiful garden so peaceful and quiet with amazing views. We had two weeks of sunshine which was perfect for exploring the Elan valley and Dams a short drive away from the cottage. The owners welcomed us with roses and wine and it was nice to know they were next door in such a remote location. "
    Mrs Julia Evans, Wantage, Oxfordshire
"A very comfortable house with plenty of space to be indoors on a rainy day. In a beautiful location - just perfect for us. Also had a gorgeous garden with excellent facilities; furniture, bbq, gazebo and was eco friendly."
    Mr Peter Bacon, Amsterdam,
"The peaceful, solitary setting of the cottage. The beautiful surroundings."
    Miss Georgina Davey, Ipswich, Suffolk
"The farmhouse and location was truly amazing and more than we anticipated it to be. The peacefulness of the location was magical as the only sounds to be heard was the tweeting of birds, hooting of owls and little lambs playing up the hill. The owners were wonderful and really understood and respected our privacy and allowed us to have full use of the garden without ever needing to disturb us. At the same time we knew they were there should we need anything. The information left in the house by the owners was absolutely excellent and told us everything we needed to know. Thank you to the owners, we had an amazing holiday and will be back!"
    Ms Joy Parkinson, Caerphilly, Caerffili
"This Cottage is exactly as described. It is very secluded and peaceful. Set in a stunning location and is prefect for those looking for total peace and quiet. Lots to do in surrounding areas and lots of walks with fantastic views. The owners Roger and Sandy make you welcome but without being intrusive on your privacy. The Cottage and gardens are a real credit to them and I for one will definitely be going back for another holiday."
    Mrs Linda Clarke, Tetbury,
