5🌟 A stunning property. Well equipped with all the creature comforts of home. Toiletries in both bathrooms was a nice added touch. Excellent fixtures and fittings and good quality furniture throughout. Beds made up on arrival, towels and tea towels provided (although we brought our own). An exceptional self catering property and probably the best we as a family have ever stayed in to date. The hosts have done an incredible job in making Slate House Lodges what it is. A beautiful haven to rest, admire the views and unwind, especially in the hot tub watching the stars. A truly exceptional place!

We stayed in the Ivy Tree Lodge, beautifully positioned at the top of the hill with stunning views overlooking the rolling countryside and peaceful valleys below. From the moment we stepped inside, it immediately felt warm, welcoming, and just like home. The lodge was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making guests feel at ease. Waking up to the picturesque scenery each morning was a real highlight, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect place to unwind. It was a wonderful stay for our family, and we left feeling refreshed with lovely memories.
