Fishing is permitted with the relevant license and there is carp of various sizes in the lakes. This is not advertised as it is not a fishery, but guests are able to fish from their lodge if there is decking on the lake or on common areas around the lake. All fish must be returned and there is no charge.

Infants must be included in the party total. The site does not allow group bookings, stag or hen parties.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lodge. Tracey, the owner, was incredibly helpful and couldn’t do enough for us — her hospitality really made our visit special. The only minor issues were the limited lighting outside when taking the dogs out at night and that the hot tub could benefit from a bit more shelter, especially in wet weather. That said, these were only small things and didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our stay. Overall, a lovely place to stay and we’d definitely come back!”

Excellent lodge, every need catered to, if I were to give a little constructive feedback it would be to provide better quality bedding and a bird table outside of the patio doors would be a nice addition but other than that everything was excellent.
