Preacher's Cottage in Llandrindod Wells is highly praised for its tranquil and scenic location, offering a peaceful retreat with a well-maintained hot tub as a highlight. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, comfort, and the thoughtful touches provided by the welcoming hosts. While most experiences are positive, a few guests noted areas for improvement.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the cottage to be spotlessly clean, with an abundance of clean towels provided. One review mentioned the need for improvement in the bathroom, but this seems to be an isolated comment amidst overall positive feedback.

The cottage's location is frequently described as tranquil, scenic, and ideal for those looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. It is noted for its proximity to beautiful walks and local attractions. A single review expressed disappointment with the garden's upkeep, but this does not detract significantly from the overall positive reception of the location.

Guests consistently report that the cottage is comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy log burner and comfortable beds. The peaceful environment contributes to the overall comfort. There are no significant negative comments regarding comfort.

The facilities, including the hot tub, log burner, and well-equipped kitchen, are generally praised. However, some guests noted that the bathroom could use updating, and there were comments about the need for better instructions for the TV and more secure fencing for dogs.

Many reviews highlight the thoughtful extras provided by the hosts, such as welcome packs and fresh flowers. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

it is a little tired in places but the price reflected this and the location made up for it.

Beautiful little cottage which was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was there and the owner was very responsive and helpful if we had any questions. Brilliant hot tub, cosy log burner, powerful shower and comfy bed. Looking forward to visiting again!

Peaceful location with lots of natural beauty to explore. The hot tube was delightful always at the perfect temperature. Our two Dalmatians felt very at home in front of the log burner, the garden was just what was needed (safe and secure). Local supermarkets only 20mins drive away to stock up on supplies. Will can’t wait to make a return visit! Would definitely recommend a stay here to recharge your batteries.
