Blaen Henllan is a well-received cottage, praised for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and peaceful rural setting. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, though some noted the sofas could use refreshing. The property's location offers stunning views and is ideal for those seeking tranquility and a break from the daily grind. Families and pet owners find it well-equipped and welcoming, with special mentions of the enclosed space for dogs and the provision of toys for children.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the property as spotlessly clean, with several reviews highlighting the cleanliness of the house. The attention to detail in maintaining a clean environment contributes to the high score in this category.

The location is frequently praised for its tranquility, beautiful views, and abundance of wildlife. The rural setting is perfect for guests looking to enjoy peace and quiet, with many appreciating the secluded feel and proximity to nature.

The property is generally regarded as comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and underfloor heating. However, several reviews suggest that the sofas are in need of an update, which slightly impacts the overall comfort score.

Facilities are well-regarded, with guests finding the property well-equipped for their needs. The presence of toys, books, and games is appreciated, as are the kitchen utensils. Some guests suggest minor improvements, such as the addition of a proper shower screen and larger casserole dishes.

While guests express gratitude for the thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and Welsh cakes, there is not enough consistent information across the reviews to accurately score the category of thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

!! It was undoubtedly one of the best properties that I have ever rented. Both the house and it's situation were perfect. So much thought and care have been put into this venture and it shows.I would highly recommend this delightful house as the perfect holiday home.

Some local market towns close by with some nice walking routes on your doorstep. The property itself has everything you'd need for a family of 4-6 but anymore would be cramped. The house is a bit 'tired' and could do with a few modern upgrades if housing a younger family. Upon entering each upstairs room was swarming with flies which wasn't ideal. The boiler in the garage makes a lot of of a noise at night so pretty difficult to sleep if you're staying directly above it in the bunk room. Also didn't appreciate the cleaners wake up call calling me at 7am on the check out day just to see if they could come earlier than the agreed 10am time. All in all a 5/10 but a few changes could easily of been nicer.

Amazed at the walks from the door but with a lame dog we were sadly limited with our walks. The bonus was having a field in front of the cottage where we could exercise our dog. We had a nice relaxing break and am hoping to return to explore the area. Thank you Tim and Ruth.
