Lovely cottage, very well-equipped, spare tea/coffee/dishwasher tablets/hand soap/loo roll all supplied. Games room was a big bonus, excellent pub-quality table football and a TV with FIFA on an old X-Box were a great distraction when it was raining. You can walk to the Farmer's Arms in less than 10 mins for food/drink (don't walk on the road, there is a footpath that runs to it - cross the river behind the house and follow the track running in the direction of the village). Crickhowell is pretty close by, we got a minibus taxi back from there to the cottage and it was £22 on a Saturday night. A great base - strong recommend.

We had the happiest holiday at Wern Farm, it is a very special place! An amazing rural setting, with a little stream which our children adored playing in. We also loved the table football and table tennis too! The Barn is spacious, spotless and well-equipped and was perfect for our multi-generational family group. Liz was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We hope to come back again!

Lovely cottage in a stunning location with lots of excursions either on the doorstep (Crickhowell is only 10 minutes away, and Hay-On-Wye, 20 minutes) plus lots of walks close by. We did the Four Waterfall Walk which was about 45 minutes drive from the cottage. The hosts are very warm with Elizabeth spending time telling us about the history of the area. If you get a chance, visit The Farmers Arms pub, a community run pub just about 10 minutes walk up the road for a some food and drink. The decking area by the stream is the perfect place to pause and enjoy a cuppa listening to the sounds of the stream running past. Thoroughly recommended
