The property was very nice and clean and very quiet, the surrounding countryside was beautiful. I was surprised to find that it was an upside down house, which would have been nice but for mobility reasons, having to walk up and down the stairs so much. I feel a microwave oven would have been more useful for the type of cooking we would do on holiday, and I was worried about the light fittings over the wash basin, as I kept catching my head on it. I thought it looked very nice, but in my case, impractical.

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at The Granary, a gorgeous cottage in a lovely location. The cottage is so tastefully done, very clean and full of light and the rural and secluded location couldn’t have been more perfect. We didn’t want to leave and would return in a heartbeat given the chance. Thank you Hester for being so welcoming, we would love to return.

First impressions, clean, nice rural location, good parking space, good views.Barn was offered for us to store our bikesHester was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the areaVery comfortable bed with good sized smart TV, large shower, washing machine if needed, enough storage space Curtains are very thin throughout the property.Single track country lane to get to property, views are amazing, hedges are quite overgrown the closer we got to the property Lots of great places to visit, Brecon canals is a beautiful walk or cycle. If you want a challenge Pen Y Fan mountain walk is spectacular. Lots of reservoirs to visitTheres an ice cream van after the first dam in Elan valley that has really lovely ice cream Would highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful and rural holiday We will definitely be returning Two very well behaved and small friendly dogs that greated us were very sweet
