A beautiful ground floor apartment, thoughtfully decorated and furnished throughout, located in a Georgian house just minutes from restaurants, shops, coffee shops and bars.
There is plenty to do in Brecon itself, with the Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh Regiment a short distance from the property, as well as the theatre and cathedral. If you fancy taking things at a slower pace, why not take a barge trip down the canal? The town is also the home of the Brecon Jazz Festival in the summer.
For those looking to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park, then this property is just 9 miles from the base of Pen Y Fan, so you can enjoy a climb to the top to see the magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. The Apartment is a fabulous base for walkers and cyclists as there is plenty of beautiful countryside to explore. There are walks to be had from all directions of this Georgian property. For those wishing to cycle in the area, there are plenty of routes, with BikePark Wales roughly a 20-minute drive from the property.
The literary town of Hay-on-Wye is 16 miles away, with its array of book shops and of course, the world renowned Hay Festival every year, The Apartment is centrally located with access routes to Swansea, Cardiff, Abergavenny and Hereford. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Excellent decor, comfortable bedding and sofas. It’s hard to find quality interior design in this area, and this apartment was a welcome change from the pine-kitchen-look that so many others had. This set it apart from everything else we looked at. The location is very good, just a few minutes walk from the town centre and 11 mins to the cathedral on the opposite side of town. A Lidl adjacent. Nice outdoor area if you get sunny weather. Private parking space right outside.Two small concerns when we arrived at a sudden cold snap. First, the bedroom radiator didn’t work (although there is tons of warm bedding). Second, the heating system has been programmed to go to 5 degrees overnight - we thought this unhelpful - just charge us 50p/day more and leave it at 20 degrees all night, which would help to avoid the apartment getting cold if we stay up late or get up early. It might also reduce the smell of damp which was prevalent in the bedrooms.We will be back next year - a strongly recommended apartment, with the hope that more heating might eliminate the damp smell.

Ideal location to explore the Brecon Beacons.Fitted and furnished to a high standard.We have no hesitation in recommending The Apartment and are happy to give it a 5 star rating..
