Enjoy an early morning stroll into the village of Penally, through Tenby golf course and out onto the magnificent South beach Tenby. Penally Heights Annex is a superb semi-detached annexe adjoining the owner’s home and finished to a high standard throughout. The bright and airy open plan living, dining and kitchen area is perfect for relaxing in after a busy day exploring with patio doors leading to your private patio with far reaching views. The kingsize bedroom boasts en-suite facilities with large walk-in shower.
Tenby is around a 20 minutes’ walk away where you can stroll through the arches of the walled town and meander through the narrow-cobbled streets to explore the delights of the many craft, gift and coffee shops. Wander down to the harbour where you can enjoy fresh fish and chips, or you can board one of the many boat trips to Caldey Island and see the Cistercian monks.

We spent a very pleasant two weeks in the Annexe. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It was one of the cleanest cottages we have stayed in, but not perfect so we’ve given it 4 stars. It was probably worth 4.5! The shower was great, the air fryer and the full size fridge freezer were very much appreciated. The sofa arrangement was a bit strange and we could have done with a slotted spoon and a more substantial spatula or wooden spoon and paper towels but apart from that it was pretty well equipped. We sat outside for most meals and the view was lovely. The outdoor seating has seen better days but was serviceable. Altogether a lovely relaxed holiday in a very quiet area with friendly neighbours in easy walking distance of the beach and cycling distance of Tenby. The owners kindly provided storage space for our bikes.

The property had nice views towards the coast.,with a nice walk.Not too many local amenities but the farm shop and cafe was very good.Location of the tv made viewing a bit difficult.

We loved staying in the annexe. It was spacious ,comfortable and had beautiful views. It was very peaceful,except for the sound of cows,sheep and trains. Penally train station is within 10 minutes walking distance, so you could be in Tenby in less than 10 minutes by train. We also walked there along the beach which could be reached in 15 minutes on foot.,from the annexe. All the beaches in the area are besutiful sandy and clean.There is also a local bus service( which we didnt use..) Denise the owner was friendly and helpful. She also kindly checked we were OK as we were there in the heatwave. We loved discovering the sights in the area,which is lovely and would really like to return to.Penally had a pub,which we didn't use as it was popular and unfortunately never had a seat outside! The only thing missing was a local shop ( which is the reason we didn't give a 5/5 for local amenities)but we stocked up on supplies at a supermarket in Tenby. We definitely recommend the Annexe and would love to return.
