    "This is a great location near Glen beach and coastal path. Great for anyone with a dog. The apartment is adequate. However there is no wifi, you can get a signal on the beach! Not good with a 9 year old! Overall the cleaniness was passable! The oven hadn't been touched as there was burnt on food on all the shelves from previous occupants. The Hob needs replacing. I do not expect as a holiday maker to remove last weeks bins from the rear of the property. They were wet and had wasps around, which had to be brought through the property. Surely this is a job for the person turning the flat around. Not impressed. The position is fantastic just lacking TLC and a bit of updating!"

    "We had concerns re a previous review and found some of the statements to be accurate. The place smells damp, and could do with a tidy up outside patio area etc.The bathroom is tired , floor tiles,taps ,shower screen etc , the shower at best was little more than a trickle.The best water presure appears to be in the wc.That said an ideal location for touring and Saundersfoot itself.We normally have 2 cottage holidays per year and in my opinion this particular one for the facilities is over priced"

    "Where do I begin? Upon first arrival, cold, stale and damp smelling. Superficially clean, layered with dust on sills, blinds, toilet room ,tv, fireplace, artificial plants etc. The Kitchen : Cooker hob blistered with rust (damp) and scattered with crumbs. Cutlery tray full of left over crumbs from previous occupants, remnants of food still on plates, sink draining board bows in the middle, so ponds. It would benefit from laminate wood flooring throughout, not just the kitchen/hallway as the carpets are impregnated with dog hairs, just walking around brought them to the top in clumps! Living room: carpet and rug embedded with dog hair, freestanding fireplace not fastened to the wall, so a hazard to young kids. The electric fire sounds like a motorbike when you turn the fan on. Bookcase full of books you’ll never read, dvds you’ll never watch and music cds you’ve never heard of. Bedrooms: double room spacious , bed set in 1970’s fitted wardrobe/cupboard thing, fitted bedside lights that high you’ve to get up to turn on/off and main light on a pull cord of similar hight above bed. Bed fitted with an ancient heated blanket, with a plastic block about the size of a box of cooks matches which my ankle found , so had to start stripping the bed in the middle of the first night to remove it. The twin room is only just ( by about six inches between beds) with similar built in single wardrobe/ cupboard effigy. This carpet also had dog hair delight. Toilet room: cobwebby, dusty, damp, leaky toilet. Frosted glass window into communal stairwell behind shabby blinds. Bathroom: shower head needs a thorough clean, blocked jets and brown residue in gaps. To enter the property , there’s a communal outside door which was kept unlocked, into a largish stairwell, with the flat’s door facing you as you enter. There’s no vision into the stairwell from the flat as all these windows have frosted glass. Now, when someone rattles your door viciously at one am, there’s no way you can see who it is, from the twin room you can see the outside door is closed, and theres no light in the stairwell you can control, what do you do? Phone the police? You’ll have a job, there’s no phone signal ( and I mean no phone signal!) without going outside, and to do that you’ve to cross the secluded stairwell where whoever has attempted to open your door may still be lingering! There are phone sockets in the flat, so it needs an emergency 999 phone at least. There’s no wifi in the flat either, to the kids delight! The rear outside two tiered patio is green with damp and slippery when wet. The three foot drop between levels has no wall or rail even to separate, just a sheer drop. And with no lights at night is dark and precarious. It does have a bbq with what can only be described as penicillin growing all over the grills if that takes your fancy, although you’ll have to empty the ash out from previous use first! All in all, we paid 5* price for Easter, to stay in a 2* property ( and thats being generous!) . N.b. We reported the front door incident to the owners point of contact (as they were away) , and he was a rude, obnoxious and insulting individual, who accused me of making it up! Yeah, because I’ve nothing else better to do when I’m on holiday with my family. This flat could be a hundred times better with a bit of attention to detail, a though clean, outside lights front and rear, and a coded lock on the communal door to stop absolutely anybody getting in!"
