    About this property

Driving through charming countryside to the seaside village of Nolton Haven, you will be delighted when you spot this stone cottage attached to the owner’s farmhouse, set just a short stroll away from the beach. Located on a non-working farm, this traditional cottage offers friends, families and avid walkers a homely base whilst discovering this beautiful area. The kitchen and spacious sitting room both come with dining areas, meaning you can spread out for meals or maybe play board games in the evenings after a busy day out. The well-equipped kitchen also allows the cooks to serve hearty meals and snacks or prepare picnics. Enjoy days out and then come home to relax in the warm sitting room beside a crackling fire before a good night’s sleep in one of the three cosy bedrooms. On warm afternoons you can sit in the front garden, and almost every day you will see horses passing by. Stroll down to the sandy beach where sunbathing and sandcastle construction will be the order of the day, or walk along part of the stunning coastal path to take in the beauty of this picturesque part of Wales, where you can spot sea birds and stop to pick wild flowers. From this perfect spot you may not wish to venture far, but if you do, there’s a range of different days out to enjoy. Explore historic castles, the magnificent St Davids Cathedral in the smallest city in the UK, take cycle rides or walks, or join the local riding school where you’ll have the chance to gallop along the silky sands. Set in such a charming location, Stone Lodge provides a wonderful base at any time of the year.

Nolton Haven is a wonderful seaside village, set on the renowned Pembrokeshire Coast Path. This sleepy little village has a sheltered sandy beach where you can sit and relax, or join the spectacular coastal path for beautiful scenic walking. A country pub serving food overlooks the bay, and you have the opportunity of horse riding via the local village riding school. From this delightful village you can enjoy all Pembrokeshire has to offer.

    Mr Smith ‐ 1 Jul 2019
" Lovely area, had a good time exploring. The cottage was fine, exactly as described, nice of the owner to leave us milk, biscuits and tea bags. Only suggestion would be a book of personal recommendations for places of interest, pubs etc. "
    Mr Duckworth ‐ 1 Jul 2019
" Amazing location, lovely building but just a bit basic really for the price. "
    Mrs Howard ‐ 1 May 2019
" The cottage was a perfect base to explore St Brides Bay. Immaculately clean and cosy; it was just as we'd hoped. Many thanks, the Howard family. "
    Mrs Macnish ‐ 1 Feb 2019
" The cottage was cosy, had everything we needed, including an open fire which made the stay even nicer knowing we had this to come home to. The owners had even made up the fire for our arrival. Although the details state thee may be road noise, I did not notice anything. The noisiest it got was when the ponies from the local riding school went past. Fantastic vegetarian food at Newgale in the Duke of Edinburgh and also in St David’s in the hotel situated in the centre. Dog friendly, very helpful owners, loved it All three of us are hoping to return soon. "

"Loverly cottage in a very rural setting,"
    Mrs Cartlidge
"Had a lovely time in Nolton, the area of Pembrokeshire is outstanding, beautiful beaches, nice pubs, lovely villages & friendly people, our cottage was lovely, warm clean & in a nice spot, friendly owners."
    Mr White
"Extremely beautiful part of the country. Would return to the area, but not to this cottage. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the cottage was clean and well presented. The problem we had was the patio area was adjacent to the road, not very open to the sun, and quite cramped. Not the owners fault, they had done the best they could with what was available. Part of our holiday enjoyment comes from sitting on an evening chilling with a glass on the patio."
    Mr R Sykes, Banbury,
"The owners were friendly, polite and helpful. The cottage is in a beautiful spot, and it was comfortable, clean and made for a very pleasant stay. A peaceful retreat. We were left undisturbed, but knowing that the owners were available if we needed anything. There was plenty of parking space in the yard behind the cottage, so it was very convenient for coming and going."

    "Thank you."
    - Mr Fisher, October 2018
"We quickly settled in (after the kids fought over which room they were having). The cottage was in great condition for its age, parking was ample. Fully recommend this cottage and may well use again in the future."

    - Mr Bates, September 2018
"It is also well placed for travelling by car to all the main places of interest in the South West corner of Wales. The owners are very helpful and hospitable - they even gave us a "guided tour" of a fabulous house they are renovating just down the road in Nolton Haven. We will definitely return to this holiday cottage again and hope that we enjoy the same fantastic weather that we have had during this year's holiday."
    - Mrs Craigie, September 2018
"A nice table and chairs at front of cottage but it was never in the sun !!"
    - Rev Watts, August 2018
"It was well kept, comfortable, warm, unpretentious and brilliantly located. Plenty of space for 5 of us plus our dog, and wonderful walks on the doorstep, beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline and beaches. The only (very small) down was the 'enclosed garden' was not really secure enough to let our curious beagle out into unattended, and was also shared with the main farmhouse. Otherwise, a really lovely stay, thank you so much."

"The cottage was very well equipped, it was spacious (but there were only two of us) might have been a bit tight with 6. A nice table and chairs at front of cottage but it was never in the sun !!"

"Great cottage. Mattress a touch firm, but lovely quiet location, perfect for the week. Lack of dishwasher understandable given kitchen size."
