Well equipped and the freezer was very useful for my raw fed dog. Found the armchairs and sofa comfy, mum did get a bit of backache from double but nothing major. However wifi virtually non existent and no floor/surface/bathroom cleaner, first cottage that hasn't provided these. There are 2 steps up to the front door and 1 out of the patio doors into garden which my mum found difficult. Light sleepers might struggle to sleep from early hours when the milking parlour machines start up a few yards up the road. Very limited local info on walks from the door, local food outlet menus etc. All in all only minor negatives and will certainly book again as love the area and had a very relaxing week.

a few issues impacted our stay WiFi...when you see WiFi included you expect it to work! the signal is so poor that we were practically unable to use it the sofa, chair and dining chairs are all uncomfortable and do not allow you to stretch out after a day's walking the main bedroom could easily take a king size bed which would have been better the owners who live on site did not check in with us at any point and only answered one of my queries by email. we did see one owner when we were heading out one day and we had a chat but nothing initiated otherwise there was sparse information about the local area especially short local walks where we could take our dog and a welcome pack of a pint of milk and some Welsh cakes were not inspiring. no cleaning equipment provided either having said all of that the cottage had good points ....Great to have a porch and utility room for cleaning the dog coming in from a day out or after playing in the fab garden it is spacious and lovely and clean on the whole not great value for what we paid
