About this property

Our holiday accommodation at Mill View is set in a large private garden surrounded by fields and rolling landscape, a great place to relax and wind down. Being situated just outside the village of Rosemarket, right next to the Brunel trail and scenic Westfield Pill Nature Reserve, we are ideally placed for easy access to many miles of the Pembrokeshire coastline on both sides of the Cleddau Estuary. You will find we are midway between the major towns of Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and Pembroke offering a wide range of historical sites and other places of interest. On entering the property you will walk into a fully fitted and well equipped spacious kitchen diner, a welcoming bright and modern space. Climb the stairs into a relaxing airy living area, a pleasant and inviting room where you can enjoy views over the surrounding countryside from the second floor windows. Beyond the living room you will find the bathroom and bedroom. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and basin. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed that can be converted into two 2’ 6’’ single beds. This along with a pull out bed settee in the living room allows for a variety of sleeping options. Amongst the many local attractions and activities is the Brunel Trail, ideal for walking or cycling and right on our door step. It is a traffic free path linking Neyland, once the western terminus of Brunel’s Great Western Railway, with Johnston and Haverfordwest. The site of the reservoir which fed the steam trains is on Mill View land and the main property started life as the reservoir keeper’s cottage. You will find the attractive Marina at Neyland boasts a bar, restaurant and cafe which are all worth a visit and within walking distance; as is the Huntsman Inn in Rosemarket. Mill View is a lovely property, whether it is for a family getaway or a couples retreat it offers a tranquil setting for all ages. We live next to the holiday accommodation so will usually be on hand to attend to any issues you may have. Our intention is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our intention is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Neyland is a lovely little town, nestled on the River Cleddau in the wonderful county of Pembrokeshire. Hosting a marina that runs post a variety of pubs, shops, and brilliant walking routes, it's a brilliant place to stay for a relaxing retreat in Wales. Be sure to check out the Pembroke Dock while you're here, home to a fabulous museum which was previously a fort, it's rich in history and culture, perfect for entertaining the whole family.

Only minor gripe was the generally low temperature in the kitchen which made breakfasts a little nippy. First floor temperature control was spot on through-out. The excellent bathroom would benefit from a hand-towel rail alongside the basin. Many thanks for the "welcome hamper"

There is all that you would need. The whole cottage is spotless. A pleasant surprise greets you - a comprehensive food hamper! It was all that we needed. Both Chris and Pam were very helpful. Would recommend

A relaxing time was had and close by to visit both the Pembrokeshire coast and towns. I would recommend the property and the owners are available if needed but not intrusive. Lovely stay.
