Haven View is a spacious, beautifully decorated cottage with stunning estuary views, praised for its homely feel and well-equipped kitchen. Guests consistently highlight the comfortable beds, cleanliness, and excellent location for exploring Pembrokeshire. The property is dog-friendly and offers plenty of space for families. While the view of the docks may not suit everyone, most found it fascinating. Some minor issues were noted, such as a musty smell in one bedroom and steep steps, but these did not detract from an overwhelmingly positive experience. Many guests expressed a desire to return.
Multiple reviews mention the property being very clean, well-maintained, and tidy. Only one review noted a musty smell in a bedroom, but this was a minor point compared to the overall positive feedback.
The location is highly praised for its views and convenience for exploring local attractions. Some guests noted the proximity to the docks and industrial areas, which may not appeal to everyone, but most found the setting interesting and the access to walks and local amenities excellent.
Guests frequently mention comfortable beds, cosy living spaces, and a homely atmosphere. There was one mention of a tired sofa and limited lounge seating for larger groups, but overall comfort is a standout feature.
The house is described as well-equipped, with a good kitchen, plentiful hot water, and thoughtful touches throughout. Minor issues included a tired sofa and steep steps, but these did not significantly impact guests' enjoyment.
Several guests appreciated the warm welcome, helpful host, and occasional welcome packages. Please note that gifts or welcome packages are not guaranteed with every stay.

Brunel Cycle Trail, starting (or ending) at Neyland Marina Brunel’s Trail is part of the Celtic Trail from Chepstow to Fishguard via Swansea. Traffic-free and well signed, with some gentle climbs, this is a popular shared-use path which links Neyland, once the western terminus of Brunel’s Great Western Railway, with Johnston and Haverfordwest. The Trail follows the picturesque Cleddau Estuary through Westfield Pill Nature Reserve, along the now disused Great Western Railway line to Johnston and then north to Haverfordwest along a path which runs parallel to the railway.
