About this property

Crymych 3.8 miles. Resting in Tegryn, north Pembrokeshire is Ucheldir, a fabulous single-storey dwelling, inviting six guests and one well-behaved dog. Enjoying a rural surrounding with expansive countryside views, whilst benefiting from a well-equipped kitchen and a homely sitting room, the cottage makes the ideal base for a family, looking to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Taking advantage of the private driveway, enter the home and head towards the kitchen/diner with a neighbouring utility, where you'll find all expected appliances to ease your self-catered stay. If you'd prefer to dine with breath-taking vistas, select between two patio areas in the rear garden, enveloped by rolling hills. Return indoors to alight the woodburning stove and cosy up for a film night upon the plush sofas, before retiring to one of the three double bedrooms on offer. The property is complete with a sleek bathroom, offering both a bath and a shower, where you can refresh ahead of your itinerary. Your doorstep is located on national cycle route 47, providing a quiet rural link to the coast and there are public footpaths available all around. For the younger legs in the family, a recently refurbished children's play park is just a 1 minute walk away. Within driving distance to Ucheldir, head to Ffynone Waterfall, a hidden gem surrounding Dulas River, or follow one of many walking trails towards Cenarth Falls, a cascade of free-flowing waterfalls, offering a tranquil setting for an afternoon picnic. Heading towards Cardigan, observe the resident wildlife at the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran, before reaching Cardigan Castle, the birthplace of the Welsh Eisteddofd in 1176 and its 900 years of history. Working your way towards the national park, enjoy a guided trek at Pembrokeshire Llamas and meet the Gentle Giants at the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm before immersing yourself in a nature-filled experience in the mythical Preseli Hills - the birthplace of Stonehenge. The coast also beckons with popular Poppit and Newport beaches just a short drive away, all year around. Enjoy the best of West Wales with Ucheldir as your base.

Pembrokeshire's Llanfyrnach is a small settlement situated halfway between Crymych and Trelech. The village, which is isolated and situated along the River Taf, is the perfect starting point for a rural getaway because it includes a few shops, a farm shop, and a typical bar. The Welsh Wildlife Centre, St. Dogmaels Abbey, Cardigan Castle, and Poppit Sands Beach are just a short drive from the shore, while heading south will take you to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and its plethora of scenic locales.

Very comfortable, very well equipped, and a lovely place to come back to and relax after days out. It was in a very peaceful location, with beautiful countryside views at the rear. The rear garden was fully enclosed and safe for our small Lhasa, the owners having thoughtfully put wire across the side gate. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Fantastic views and very friendly cows! The weather was not very kind but that didn’t spoil our holiday and we found the location perfect for travelling to places of interest. We were a bit disappointed that the village pub didn’t do food or was dog friendly but as we were well stocked up on M & S food we ate in every evening. A big thanks to Mandy & Adam for sharing their property and replying so quickly to any of our queries
