What a fantastic find was Llaethdy Arfryn. A last minute booking and we found this beautifully presented cottage situated in the rural village of Maenclochog. It has everything you need for a relaxing break. The converted cowshed is a modern cottage, cosy, clean, comfortable, has easy parking and also came with a great welcome pack. Whilst Maenclochog is in the 'middle of nowhere' it is perfectly central for exploring Pembrokeshire. You are mere minutes from the glorious valleys and hills of the Preseli mountains. The coast e.g. less than 15 miles from Cwm yr Eglwys and St Davids is only 20 odd miles via great lanes. We didn't get a chance in late October to enjoy the garden/courtyard nor the bbq but it'll be perfect for the summer.A really great escape, one which we thoroughly recommend.

Spotless property, Morwen has thought of everything you could possibly need. Welcome pack of local goods really appreciated, nothing was too much trouble and she even gave us a gift as it was our anniversary! Ideal location to visit all the places of interest in south west Wales. Walking on the spectacular cliffs and Church door cove was a highlight.

We absolutely loved our time at the cottage. It was very peaceful with so little traffic which made a nice change for us. We greatly appreciated all the excellent amenities, the clean environment and the friendliness of everyone we met in the village. It was an ideal location for local walks and visits further afield to the varied delights of Pembrokeshire. John and Morwen were especially welcoming and helpful, also providing a generous welcome pack. The courtyard garden was an added bonus in good weather.
