While some find it cosy and perfect for relaxation, others have raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance.

Mixed reviews on cleanliness, with several guests finding the cottage dirty, mentioning mould and a lack of attention to detail. However, not all reviews mention cleanliness issues.

The location is highly praised for its quietness, beautiful views, and proximity to local attractions and dog-friendly beaches, making it a great spot for exploring West Wales.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the underfloor heating pleasant. However, some guests noted the upstairs area was cold and the furniture outdated.

Facilities receive mixed feedback. The hot tub and enclosed garden are highlights, but there are negative comments about the state of the hot tub cover, outdated TV, and the lack of a welcome book.

What can we say didn't want to leave this beautiful place and were already looking to rebook for 2027. Just beautiful in every way 😍

My daughter and I lasted just 12 hours in this place before we decided to cut our losses and find alternative accommodation. The property, while charming from the outside, could not have been more disappointing once we stepped inside. The cottage may appear cosy at first glance, but that’s about where the appeal ends. The smell of damp and dirt hit us immediately. The furniture was outdated and in desperate need of replacement—it felt more like we were sitting in a museum than a holiday cottage. While I understand the desire for authenticity, the overall decor was unsettling and made us feel as though we were staying in a place with a dark history. I couldn’t shake the feeling that someone had passed away there. If you're considering bringing your dog, be warned: this is not a pet-friendly property. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture (though it hardly matters, as the furniture looks like it hasn't been updated in half a century), and they’re not even allowed upstairs. The upstairs floor was a disaster although it’s great the original floor has been kept please be warned it is uneven, with holes, and it felt like it could give way at any moment. The cleanliness of the cottage was another issue. It felt dirty from the moment we walked in, especially with the visible mould on the walls and the pervasive dampness. It made the entire experience uncomfortable and unpleasant. As for the amenities, I get that you don’t go on holiday to watch TV, but an 18-inch, non-smart TV in 2025? It’s laughable. We also had the misfortune of dealing with a filthy hot tub cover, so the hot tub was completely unusable. It was meant to be a four-night stay, but we left after just one. There was also no welcome book or guide to local amenities, leaving us in the dark about basic necessities. In summary, this cottage was a massive letdown. Cold, dirty, creepy, and completely unsuitable for pets. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone, and I strongly recommend avoiding it at all costs.
