About this property

Abersoch 1.4 miles. Tan Y Fynwent is tucked away in the picturesque village of Llanengan near Abersoch in North Wales. Perfect for small families, friends, or couples wishing to discover the delights of North Wales, this charming stone-built holiday cottage is dog-friendly and offers a terrific location close to local amenities and the golden coastlines of a plethora of beaches. After a long day of exploring, you may relax in the sitting area in front of the Smart TV and the woodburning stove. Afterwards, prepare wonderful dishes for everyone in the fully-equipped kitchen and dine together at the table; on warmer days, head out to the south-facing garden and have a supper under the stars while gazing across over Port Neigwl (Hell's Mouth). Returning indoors as night falls, guests can refresh themselves in the contemporary bathroom before retiring to the double or twin bedroom. If you can bear to leave this picture-perfect home, Abersoch is just a short drive away and has everything you would need for self-catering, as well as several excellent dining options, including The Hub, St. Tudwals Inn, and The Vayol. Here you may relax on the sandy beaches of Traeth Abersoch, or you can do something new and exciting like kayaking or paddleboarding to take in the stunning scenery of the coast. Trails for walking and trekking abound, whether you're looking to explore the countryside or spend some time by the water; the Wales Coast Path, for example, winds past quaint seaside towns, each of which has its own unique appeal. In addition to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, other notable destinations in the region include the National Trust property of Plas Yn Rhiw, Glasfryn Parc, Criccieth Castle. Make unforgettable memories at Tan Y Fynwent.

Abersoch, a charming harbour community in a part of Wales known for its breath-taking natural beauty and a wealth of hiking opportunities, may be found on the Llyn Peninsula. Nestled between two beautiful bays, this community is a major summertime destination for sailors from all over the world. There are several businesses, such as shops, restaurants, and cafes, that cater to visitors. Golfers can take advantage of the adjacent course, while those interested in horseback riding will find stables not far from the settlement. Windsurfing, waterskiing, and dinghy sailing are just some of the popular watersports available, and Port Neigwl (Hell's Mouth) is famed for its surfing. Abersoch Main Beach, with its miles of soft sand, is likely the most frequented beach in the region. The Llyn Peninsula and its environs are home to an abundance of stunning beaches, such as the rocky Porth Ceriad and the sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). The National Trust owns the vast majority of the coastline, and it is dotted with secluded coves, sandy beaches, and cliffs, as well as wildlife sanctuaries like Bardsey Island.

There is a quaint village pub, The Sun Inn, serving fresh food and drink daily which is literally a 2 minute walk away. The log burner makes the cottage super cosy on the cooler days and the private back garden and views are delightful. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped.
