The Barton is a traditionally converted, spacious Barn, surrounded by 31 acres of stunning, privately owed woodlands and fields. Within the grounds is the St Sidwell Holy Well, an ancient monument dating back to 790 AD. The present building pre-dates the church which is 14th century. You have the access to roam freely and explore the tranquil walking routes along side the River Inney, filled with Salmon and Trout or wonder through the woodland from you doorstep.
As you walk through the door you'll notice the spacious living space, with it's original exposed beams, full of character and beautiful views to enjoy from the open plan living area. The perfect place to return too after a busy day exploring. Whether it's chilly outside and you cosy up in front of the woodburner, or make use of your private outside space for some alfresco dining. The Barton makes for an ideal base to relax whatever the weather.
Great location for exploring Cornwall, with some fantastic pubs and a small shop within a couple of miles. Trethorne Golf and leisure club within 4 miles.

An ideal property for 2 people in a quiet rural location. Great hosts who made us feel very welcome and were a good source of local information.

This property is ideal for a couple who like a quiet location but which is within a short car journey from various small towns. The very friendly owners did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one - including providing little extras - home grown tomatoes, plums and apple juice. They live in the adjacent farm house and are always at hand to provide help or advice. The Barn is comfortable and cosy and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The Barn is an ideal holiday accommodation: very clean, very comfortable, and in an ideal location - just a short drive from Pwllheli. The owners, Simon and Suzanne, live next door and are very friendly; however, they do leave you to your own devices to enjoy your holiday in your own way. The Barn is highly recommended.
