Rock House offers stunning accommodation for four people, boasting a spacious open-plan interior on the ground floor with stone, tiled flooring. The lounge area features a remarkable stone chimney breast, housing a cosy woodburning stove and a large L-shaped sofa with optimal seating for viewing the large wall-mounted flat screen smart TV.You can enjoy watching Sky, with the movie package, or log into your Netflix account.There is also DVD player with a large selection of DVDs for those rainy days.Spend your evening keeping up to date with all your favourite shows and enjoying quality family time. A well-equipped kitchen rests behind the lounge, boasting high-quality white units and sleek black worktops, housing all the appliances you could possibly need during your stay.With a convenient breakfast bar where you can enjoy a lovely family meal together. Follow the steps up to the first floor landing area, where you are greeted by a set of French doors leading out to an enclosed small courtyard, with newly installed living walls and a table and chairs to relax.The courtyard is a real sun trap!You can take the Rock house deck chairs up in the morning, and then pop them out in the front small terrace to watch the sunset of an evening.If the weather is very English, there are Rock House umbrellas for you to use during your stay. The first floor also hosts two bedrooms: one double and one twin ((which can be joined to make a super king size bed, so just let us know what configuration you would like for your stay).There is also a separate family shower room. The bedrooms have a wonderful stone wall feature, giving the room a wealth of character, while the bedside tables and lamps offer the chance for a relaxing evening while reading a book. Off-road parking is available. A must-see while you stay in the area is the magnificent and historic Tintagel Castle.Boasting a breath-taking cliff-top backdrop and the hidden Merlin's Cave below.Full of history, stunning views across the water and a convenient gift shop and on-site cafe for a spot of lunch - this is not a place you want to miss on your trip. Tintagel is a village and civil parish in Cornwall, England, situated on the coast and dates back many hundreds of years. The village has a number of historical attractions, the most notable being Tintagel Castle, which has links to the legends of King Arthur. Tintagel is within driving distance of many neighbouring villages boasting wonderful sandy beaches and a range of amenities to explore.

Off-road parking for one car: there is a small car parking space behind the house (with a discreet Rock house sign).You will need to use this in the summer season as parking is restricted in the daytime.In the winter season (October to May) guests are able to just park in front of the cottage.If you are travelling down in more than one car there is an NCP car park further up the road.
First floor enclosed, rear balcony with furniture and front courtyard with deckchairs.
One well-behaved dog is welcome.

What a fabulous find, absolutely stunning cottage with everything you needed and more, the attention to detail was perfect. It was a lovely surprise and touch to arrive to find complimentary milk, bread & cakes after a long journey. Very stylish and high quality furnishings , the beds were so inviting and comfortable and top quality linen used which makes such a difference, having the choice of firm or soft pillows was very thoughtful and large fluffy towels. I have stayed in many beautiful places but I have to say this has to be the best, a real hidden gem and hard to beat. Added bonus was being able to park outside in the winter but saying that it does have its own parking space just a stones throw away behind the cottage, I had the most peaceful relaxing time and the cottage was so cosy and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Beautiful sunset and sunrises right on your doorstep. Thankyou for sharing this beautiful home. Can not wait to return.

It was extremely well equipped, comfortable and clean. Being able to park outside in the low season was a treat! Welcome goodies of cake, butter, milk and bread were much appreciated. My only comment would be that the breakfast bar chairs were extremely uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. Given there is no dining table, this made eating in a little less enjoyable than it might have been! Other than that, this house gets 10 out of 10. So much care has been taken to make people's stay enjoyable. Thank you.
