About this property

Set on the southern edge of the picturesque village of Abersoch rests this impressive, detached house, Pentre Bach. Sporting reverse-level accommodation with stunning interiors, this is a superb base for a family of eight’s seaside holiday. Upon arriving at the property, make your way upstairs to find a breath-taking, open-plan living space, a room boasting vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows that bathe the space in natural light, as well as chic furnishing throughout. The sitting area is designed for relaxation, with a great selection of plush seating set under the large skylights, where you can unwind as you marvel at countryside views and watch your favourite show on the FreeSat TV. Continue through the fantastic space to discover a stunning kitchen with sleek, grey fittings, an array of NEFF appliances, and a stylish breakfast bar that makes for a great socialising spot. The minimalist dining table is close-by and is a great place to take in the marvellous vista whilst you dine with your loved ones; the space opens out to an infinity balcony where you can relax under the stars after dinner, with a glass of wine in hand. Before bed, head downstairs to throw any sandy clothes in the utility’s washing machine, then choose between four ground-floor bedrooms to rest your head. The first bedroom is a fabulous king-size room that is served by built-in storage, patio doors to the garden and a contemporary, en-suite shower room, where you can savour a rejuvenating rinse in the glass, walk-in shower after a day packed with excursions. Further along the corridor is another king-size, this one being zip/linked to suit your sleeping arrangements whilst also enjoying access to the garden; the double is nearby and benefits from a large built-in wardrobe and shelving. The younger ones of the group will be delighted with the bunk room, as the room not only benefits from access to the garden so they can play, but also provides them with a vanity so they can get ready for the day with ease. Finishing off the ground-floor are the bathrooms, the first one being a well-presented bathroom with a separate bath and walk-in shower, and the other being a lovely shower room that contains a walk-in shower and illuminated mirror; both spaces feature heated towel rails, so you can wrap up warm after a soak. The rear garden is a delightful spot, with a porcelain patio, astro-turf and sophisticated landscaping lining its edges. The property is in a prime location, situated less than a mile away from Abersoch’s amenities, from seafood restaurants using local produce to well-equipped convenience stores; explore two beautiful beaches, where you can rent surfboards and paddle boats from nearby shops to venture through Abersoch’s crystal waters. Abersoch backs onto the quaint village of Llanengan, where you can hike through the Llanengan Hillfort where remnants of the Lead Mine can be found, before enjoying lunch at The Sun Inn and wandering down to Hells Mouth Beach for more fun in the sun and sand. Be sure to embark on the Llŷn Coastal Path to Llanbedrog, where you can trek through Llanbedrog’s heathland to the elevated viewpoint, with its panoramic views of the sea and distant St Tudwals Islands, before enjoying a well-deserved treat at the Aqua Beach Restaurant and bask in the sun on Llanbedrog Beach. Continue eastward on the coastal path to find the delightful towns of Pwllheli and Criccieth, or wander west to discover the picture-postcard settlements Rhiw, Aberdaron and Porthdinllaen. Treat your family to a stay at a wonderful base of Pentre Bach in this beautiful part of Wales.

It was a great place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The Housekeeper was lovely and had left the house spotless. Towels were an issue for me initially as I would have expected towels to be supplied, however, I appreciate not everyone would be respectful and take them to the beach. Lack of Cot, Highchair, T Towels, or Toilet Rolls was disappointing, for it’s star rating I would have expected them to be honest.

This house is a luxurious ‘grand design’ with all the mod cons that made our stay really enjoyable. We did not want to leave.

The accommodation was first class and everything was high quality. Excellent facilities and equipped with everything you can think of. Would definitely stay again. Great location for the beaches and Abersoch restaurants.
