This detached house sits in a peaceful rural spot but is less than a mile from the beaches, shops and restaurants of the popular village of Abersoch.
Goleufryn is a detached period house in a peaceful location on a quiet country lane less than a mile from the centre of the popular seaside village of Abersoch and its shops, restaurants, bars and beaches. The layout is perfect for large family groups. The main house sleeps 10, with two bedrooms and a bathroom on both the first and second floors and space for additional guests in the two separate annexes - the games room barn, sleeping two, and the barn annexe, sleeping four. A discount is available out of season for parties of 12 guests not using the barn annexe and for 14 guests not using the games room barn; please contact us for details.
The house has been refurbished with care and attention to detail. There is an open plan living/dining room and kitchen which leads to a further sitting room in the conservatory. The living room has leather sofas, a log burner, on demand TV with sky entertainment package and WiFi. The fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher and leisure cooker ceramic hob with double oven whilst the utility room houses the washing machine. The conservatory sun room has a sofa and double doors to the garden. On the first floor is the king size bedroom (with large ensuite bathroom and corner shower cubicle (with jet spray) and a twin bedroom, also cloakroom with WC and basin. The second floor has a large family room with king size bed, single bed and additional pull out bed, TV and panoramic views. A further bedroom has twin beds. There is a shower room and separate WC with basin on this floor.
The Games Room Barn has a games room with table football, a darts board and small pool table, also a double bed, a day bed, a toilet and shower.
The Barn Annexe has a ground floor lounge with kitchenette area with microwave, a first floor bedroom with double bed, another room with two singles and a bathroom.
Outside is a generous garden with mature trees and shrubs and pretty rural views. A patio with tables and benches and rattan garden furniture make this the perfect choice for dining and entertaining al fresco. Bike storage in the games room.There is off road parking for several cars plus a boat.

We booked this cottage and the additional barn for my family and our four dogs. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, plenty of space for everybody. Lesley was there to greet us on arrival. She was very friendly and hospitable. She had even arranged for there to be Easter Eggs on arrival for each of the children in our group, together with some prosecco for the grown ups! The house itself is in an ideal location, only 10 minutes walk away from a dog friendly breach. Lovely views from the bedroom windows across the fields. We had the log fire lit for a couple of the nights which was really lovely. I would highly recommend this cottage to anybody wanting to stay in a large group - Abersoch is beautiful, plenty of bars and restaurants if you want to try them, although we quite enjoyed having a few bottles of wine in the cottage during the evenings and big family meals together. We all had a really lovely time and would highly recommend this please do anybody. Lesley was always available if we had any problems (not that we had any!)

Booked the house and barns for 17 family members and everybody loved the place. Living room easily accommodated everyone in comfort. Dining area in conservatory was a good size with a large extending table to seat approx. 12. Beds were very comfortable (mine better than home) and a bathroom on each floor meant no morning queues. Barns were also excellent and the kids loved the games room, with pool table, table tennis and table football. Only 20 min walk into Abersoch and beaches.

This house has everything!!! The only things you need to pack is the suitcase.......Beautiful house in a stunning location with local shops and the beach all within a 10 minute walk! It caters for large parties and it felt like we were at home, from the games room which is full of entertainment to the spacious main lounge for entertaining - the owners have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable and as welcoming! I can highly recommend this accommodation and we are hope to go back again to visit next year!
