The village also has its own golf course which enjoys stunning ocean views. Just to the south-west, the long, sandy beach of Porth Neigwl (3.5 miles) stretches along for 3 miles. Exploring the surrounding Llyn Peninsula, popular local destinations include Plas yn Rhiw, Carreg-y-Defaid, and Porth Ysgo, all within 8 miles. Heading east along the coast, you can spend a day in the lively seaside resort of Pwllheli (6.5 miles).
