Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th-century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.     Clean, warm and lots of hot water. Good wifi and mobile signal. Kitchen equipment basic but adequate. I didn't meet the owners but had a friendly and helpful correspondence by text. Phone signal and mobile connection intermittent in the surrounding area - don't rely on Google Maps!

    Then note that you need to follow the hewk round to the left until you reach the end. And secondly you can note that there is parking for Min y Mor which is opposite the cottage. We got back one night and there were 4 vehicles parked in our parking space and one of those in front of the door! Apart from that quite a pleasant place
