Min Y Traeth in Criccieth is a well-loved cottage, praised for its warmth, comfort, and proximity to the beach. Guests appreciate the property's spaciousness and the thoughtful touches from the owners, such as fresh flowers and Welsh cakes. While some minor maintenance issues and the lack of an enclosed garden for pets are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests planning return visits.
The property is generally described as very clean, with several reviews highlighting its cleanliness on arrival. However, a few guests mentioned specific areas needing improvement, such as the oven and windows, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is highly praised for being quiet, close to the beach, and convenient for exploring the local area and Snowdonia. The views of the castle and sea from the property add to the appeal.
Guests find the house comfortable, with a warm atmosphere and comfortable beds. Some guests suggested improvements in seating and garden enclosure for pets, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.
The facilities are well-regarded, with a new kitchen and well-stocked utensils. However, some guests noted the need for more cooking trays, better garden fencing for pets, and updates to the TVs and garden seating.
While guests mention thoughtful gestures such as fresh flowers and homemade cakes, these are individual experiences and not consistent across all reviews. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such gifts will be provided to all guests.

Quiet location 100 yards from the sea front. Views of Criccieth castle from kitchen and bedrooms. Easy access into the house.

It is a very easy level walk to the sea front and a green space with lots of seats. Criccieth is a brilliant base for exploring North Wales giving access to the mountains, The Lleyn Peninsular, and lots of fabulous beaches. We were lucky to get a fair amount of sun! We hope to be back.
Cheryl
Very close to seafront and beach walks. Property is spacious and comfortable. Would recommend.
