It is perfectly positioned for exploring the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonia National Park, and the gently rolling countryside of the Llyn Peninsula with its miles of sandy beaches. Cleverly converted on the ground floor of this former woollen mill, the apartment offers plenty of space for four guests, with a welcoming open plan living space and two bedrooms. There is an interconnecting door between this apartment and Snowdon (ref UK6627), ideal for larger groups.
The Woollen Mill, where the owner lives on-site, is situated within a peaceful setting, overlooking woodland with rural views in all directions that follow the course of the river. Dating back to 1776, it is a building full of character and history. If visitors can bear to tear themselves away from the property’s tranquil seclusion, a wealth of delights await exploration, including Caernarfon with its magnificent castle. The Welsh Highland Railway is worth a visit for scenic trips into the heart of the National Park. For the more adventurous, Zip World Velocity, the longest, fastest zip wire in the northern hemisphere is also easily accessible. A beautiful sandy beach is within 5 miles, and there are wonderful walking opportunities from the doorstep. Beach 4½ miles. Shop 3½ miles, pub 6 miles and restaurant 10½ miles.

Very peaceful and well presented cottage. Loved the river and garden, the local beaches for dog walks are only ten minutes away by car. Lovely comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed our week here. Plenty of scenic trips into the Snowdonia national park and local towns and they are all within a short drive. The owners greeted us on arrival and made us feel really welcome.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic stay near TryfanWe had a fantastic stay here and couldn’t fault the accommodation. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing break in the heart of Snowdonia.The location was excellent, particularly for exploring Tryfan and the surrounding mountains. The scenery was beautiful and it was a great base for getting out and enjoying North Wales.The accommodation itself was comfortable, well presented and felt like a real home from home. Everything was as described, and the whole place was spotlessly clean.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable base for exploring Tryfan and the stunning North Wales countryside.

Amazing. Tryfan is idyllic. The garden is adjacent to the river and is a haven for wildlife lovers. Birds, birds, birds, and an otter spotted: truly wonderful. Ty Coch pub on the beach perfect; beach at Dinas Dinlle gorgeous. The hosts were so welcoming and fun. Definitely will return.
