The kitchen area was particularly dirty, the shelves in the fridge were very dirty. We also weren't able to put anything in the icebox because it was fully frosted over. The oven had hairs inside and wasn't cleaned at all with greasy shelves, old splashes of food on the tiles, kettle and the microwave. There was also lots of old crumbs on the worktop and a horrible smell of mold inside the cupboards. Downstairs loo not cleaned with pee stains and hair. There was human and pet hair was all over the place especially on the sofas and beds. Mold on the walls in the bathroom and around bathtub and very thin bath towels. The front of the house, wasn't also up to standards there was a lot of weeds and overall was quite overgrown. In addition to this there were steps leading up to the house with a loose slate slab which was quite the hazard especially in wet weather or while walking up and down. The Property looks like it gets quite a few bad reviews as there were torn off pages in the Visitors Book.

The cottage is located in ideal place. Our aim for this holiday was to climb Snowdon. Only short drive to the parking, so easy to come back afterwards. Also we visited several places such as Anglesey to Porthmadog and Betws-y-Coed, those places are within 1 hour! Great view from front window if sky is clear. There are basic essentials provided in this cottage. About 15 mins drive to get major big supermarket or 5 mins to get local shop. Some games are in living room and TV to connect Netflix. We totally relaxed at night time. Thank you very much.

I had some tops with me that would become unwearable if kept in a drawer. The towels were very small and thin. I had brought my own as this is often the case but if towels are provided it would be nice if they were a bigger size and thicker.
