About this property
A delightful, semi-detached holiday cottage, built into a bank, adjoining the owners' home and set mostly on the first floor, nestled in the centre of Llangollen, North Wales. Traditionally styled with exposed stone walls, a double height ceiling and feature wooden beams, this Llangollen cottage offers the perfect base for family or small groups of friends exploring North Wales. An open tread staircase, in this Llangollen cottage, leads to a twin bedroom on the mezzanine level, with a cosy double bedroom on the first floor and two steps leading down to a shower room. A light and airy open plan living area offers a kitchen, dining area and a comfortable sitting area where you can put your feet up and relax after a day exploring the wonders of the Welsh countryside. From the kitchen and dining area, doors open to steps leading down to a pretty, sheltered shared courtyard. From there take the short stroll into the centre of Llangollen. Here you can enjoy relaxed, scenic river walks or maybe challenge yourself with one of the many whitewater activities available in the town itself. Discover miles of delightful countryside walks around Llangollen, spend your afternoons browsing quaint little shops, enjoy a spot of afternoon tea or why not take a trip on the steam train through the valley? With so much to see and do, this Llangollen cottage is a holiday base like no other, perfect for a break exploring North Wales!
The beautiful Vale of Llangollen, with its dramatic mountain backdrop and boulder-strewn River Dee is the setting for this pretty tourist town. Explore the green valley by steam train or canal boat, or take an exhilarating walk up to Castell Dinas Brân, high above the town, in order to enjoy the breathtaking view. Llangollen offers a good range of pubs and restaurants, as well as many interesting shops. Llangollen is a wonderful town and a perfect base for exploring North Wales!
