Snaptrip says

Woodland Cottage in Llangollen is highly praised for its stunning views, cleanliness, and cosy atmosphere. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, ideal location for walks and exploring North Wales, and the comfortable furnishings. While some mention the lack of a proper shower and a small fridge, the overall experience is one of a charming and well-equipped retreat, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers consistently mention that the cottage is clean, with several noting it was 'spotlessly clean' upon arrival. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and appeal of the property.

The location is frequently highlighted as ideal, with its quiet setting, proximity to local walks, and beautiful views. It is well-situated for exploring North Wales, though a car is recommended for ease of access.

Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the beds very comfortable and the cottage cosy. However, some guests noted the steep stairs and soft mattresses as minor issues, slightly impacting the overall comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being well-equipped. Some guests suggested improvements such as clearer instructions for the cooker and the addition of a shower. The presence of a wood burner and good heating are positives.

While many guests mention welcome gifts and appreciate the thoughtful touches, there is not enough consistent detail across the reviews to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

But that would not put us off returning as that was the only downside to what is a superb cottage.

  • Ann

    We had a lovely time.

  • Andy

Only small issue is maybe the mattress in the double bedroom needs replacing as we could feel the springs when laying on the bed
