Only small issue is maybe the mattress in the double bedroom needs replacing as we could feel the springs when laying on the bed

Quiet location and efficient timely communication with host when required. We had two large dogs and there are many walks from the cottage and accessible woodland opposite which was ideal. The stairs leading to first floor are steep and narrow, in keeping with the cottage character, so may not be suitable for some people. We would definitely stay here again
