Nestled in the heart of the Upper Dee Valley, the little village of Cynwyd and surrounding areas are home to a number of wonderful attractions, including the stunning Rug Chapel, the statue of Owain Glyndŵr in nearby Corwen, plus The Blue Lion pub, serving excellent food and a range of beverages to suit all, and a village store for grabbing any essentials. The property is situated on Waterfall Road which leads up to the local reservoir and Cynwyd Forest with many trails leading on to the North Berwyn Way. Just a short walk up the road is the local waterfall, which is definitely worth a visit. Head off on a local adventure and discover Moel Ty Uchaf, a collection of 41 stone circles, or venture towards the Iron Age hillfort of Caer Drewyn for a taste of the local history. Venture to the nearby town of Llangollen, where you will find a large selection of amenities, as well as attractions including the ruins of Castell Dinas Brân.
