Nearby are the fallen folly of Gwrych Castle, wonderful hill walks, or enormous sandy beaches with excellent water sports and fishing. Discover the Welsh Mountain Zoo, 13th Century Conwy Castle and delightful harbour, Victorian Llandudno with its famous promenade, tram rides up the Great Orme and dry ski slope, and not forgetting the whole of Snowdonia – a superb base for exploring this lovely region.
