About this property

This inviting, ground-floor apartment rests in the centre of Llandudno, just a few paces from the bustling pier and promenade. Presented to an excellent standard, Bodnant offers a magnificent retreat for couples looking to embark on their next Welsh adventure. Park up on the roadside before unloading your bags and making your way into your new home-from-home to begin your holiday. Move into the delightful lounge, where you can slump on the settee and tune into your favourite shows. As you build up an appetite, the kitchen offers all the essentials for a short break, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and even a washing machine, so you can easily pop your muddy clothes on a spin. The bedroom has been finished to a superb standard with matching wardrobe and drawers, along with fresh white bed linen. Start your day with a rejuvenating rinse in the bathroom before heading to the local shop for some breakfast goodies. Take advantage of your central location and stroll into the centre of the town and browse a fabulous selection of independent shops, quirky cafes and fantastic restaurants, including a spot of authentic Mediterranean, Italian or Asian cuisine. Alternatively, tuck into a fresh portion of fish and chips and enjoy a gentle wander along the promenade, taking in the traditional Victorian buildings and the calming waters of Llandudno Bay. You could take your holiday to the next level by visiting 679ft Great Orme, by either taking a ride on the Great Orme tramway, or even a cable car to its summit. Take a step back in time as you learn about the interesting history of the area with a tour of the Great Orme Mines, the world’s largest prehistoric copper mine dating back 4,000 years. Those feeling active should consider a trip to the Snowdonia National Park, offering a range of walking, cycling and hiking opportunities for all ages, including exhilarating zip-line experiences amongst the slate caverns and challenging climbs to the summit of Snowdon. With plenty to do while holidaying in North Wales, look forward to a stay at Bodnant.

The town of Llandudno rests between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme, and it is these headlands, as well as the town's two waterfronts, that give it its unique attractiveness. The North Shore, with its large promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels, and the quieter West Shore, with miles of sandy beachfront backed by sand dunes and wonderful views towards Anglesey, are the town's two excellent beaches. However, for the greatest views, take the Great Orme Tramway or a mile-long cable car journey to the peak of the 679ft Great Orme. The town has a diverse range of shops, bars, restaurants, and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, North Wales' leading theatre stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy, and touring orchestras, with a diverse schedule - all within walking distance of the promenade. The town of Conwy, a recognised World Heritage Site, is about 4 miles distant. Conwy is a remarkable mediaeval gem, dominated by a magnificent castle and totally encircled by well-preserved town walls. There's lots to see and do along the North Wales coast, including miles of sandy beaches and superb walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park, which is only 20 minutes away.

Lovely big TV and nice powerful shower. However the parking can be really difficult. It was a great pity none of the suggestions made by previous guests had been addressed i.e the LED lights in kitchen and bathroom, the TV tricky to get the channels indicated in the Welcome Book, lack of curtains in the bedroom etc. We also got woken during the night by the Central Heating which burst into life at 2.30 am ! Despite this we had an enjoyable stay in Llandudno and it was handy for the town and promenade.

I contacted the owner who arrived within twenty minutes and was very apologetic and set to and cleaned the apartment himself and brought in all the necessary linen. This did not spoil my stay and I would recommend this well appointed apartment near all the amenities of Llandudno.

what we found very helpful was the information book on the coffee table with useful numbers and places to go. Many thanks!
