We enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious with everything you need and more. Lots of extras and information. It renewed our faith in holiday cottages.

Trondra House was a very comfortable well equipped house. Good base for exploring surrounding area. It was a pity that the village cafe had closed down and the pub only did snacks. However there was a hotel and Spa at other end of village but this didn't do meals every day unless you were staying there. It would of been useful if there had been information in the house about places of interest to visit. Also details about the trains as there was a station in the village and bus time tables would have been helpful.

We found Trondra to be an exceptionally well provisioned house, in fact I can honestly say we have never stopped anywhere that had so many cleaning products, hand wash and hand cream available. The house was clean with an exceptional number of games and books available.Overall, the house was really nice, we found both the bed and settees very comfortable and though the owner's car was on the drive, there was still plenty of room to park. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dogs. The owner, is a lovely lady, so helpful and kind. We had a minor problem when we arrived, she had a plumber there the next day, even though we had had said it would be fine and there was no rush. Our only disappointment was that there was no milk on arrival, unfortunately I had forgot to pack any. Luckily the CK store by Ferryside beach is open till 9pm. It is a shame the café is no longer open. The house is in a good position to visit both, Swansea and Worms Head and Tenby. Llansteffan, over the estuary, opposite Ferryside is well worth a visit, as is Kidwelly Castle. Should we return to Ferryside in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to book Trondra again.
